Annotation: The article illustrates in studying the science of literary studies, its history, emergence, it is important to study the sources of formation, the principles of historical development earns. Because without studying the history of each science, it is about its current imagination, the essence of science, without knowing the trends of development, it is difficult to understand. It also consists in the interpretation of the theme of war in the works of English and Uzbek writers.
