Abstract

 Abstract: In this article, we will examine the concept of inversion in English, explore its various forms, functions, and uses in written and spoken communication. From subject-verb inversion to rhetorical devices and literary styles, we reveal the versatility and beauty of inversion as a linguistic phenomenon that enhances the richness and expressiveness of the English language.
