Beginning with an overview of classical dramatic theory, including Aristotle's three-act structure, the paper examines the evolution of dramatic structure in modern literature, theater, film, and television. Key elements such as exposition, rising action, climax, and resolution are analyzed in depth, exploring their roles in engaging audiences, building tension, and delivering satisfying narrative resolutions. Additionally, the paper considers cultural and genre variations in dramatic structure, as well as the psychological and emotional impact of effective storytelling. Through this exploration, readers gain insight into the timeless principles of dramatic structure and their application in crafting memorable and impactful narratives.
