GLOBALISATION AND THE SPREAD OF ENGLISH

Abstract

Annotation: Globalization is something we cannot see. It is a process of
interaction between people, companies and governments of different countries.
Nowadays, we can feel globalization almost everywhere. People eat American fast
food, wear Italian shoes and Mexican dresses, drive Japanese cars and listen to Korean
music. In short, globalization is a mixture of cultures, and English is an important part
of the globalization process.
