Abstract

Translating religious texts is quite difficult comparing to the rest types of translation, because of unique challenges which may occur during the translation process. This article is going to discuss the obstacles that take place while translating Islamic books from Uzbek into English. For example, language problems, contextual, and stylistic difficulties, or even translators sometimes struggle to understand some religious terms due to not being aware of their own culture enough. Apart from that, this article will try to identify a number of viable solutions to tackle above mentioned problems.
