Abstract: Based on the content of literary works translated from Uzbek into
English, the essay discusses a wide range of culturally specific words, realia
translation, and the identification of the primary types and difficulties of translation.
The depiction of national and historical realities and characteristics, as well as issues
with similarity and equivalence in translated artistic creation, were examined.
