Abstract

We know antimony is about one-fifth as abundant as arsenic, contributing on the average about one gram to every ton of Earth’s crust. Its cosmic abundance is estimated as about one atom to every five million atoms of silicon. Small deposits of native metal
have been found, but most antimony occurs in the form of more than a hundred different minerals.
