Abstract

This article discusses the study of new English vocabulary based on dictionaries
in 2017-2018. Analysis of the cognitive and pragmatic factors that contribute to the
creation of new words is the aim of the work. Neoconcepts and neologisms that
objectively reconsider well-known concepts are among the categories of neologisms
that novelty research aims to identify. The results show that the production of new units
is the prevailing trend, fixing a more precise and thorough comprehension of reality's
known items. It was discovered that word fusion and word formation are the most
effective processes for creating neologisms.
